GPS Industries [OTC BB: GPSN], a Canadian-based GPS device provider for the sports industry, has received contracts worth more than $800,000 from five golf courses for its GPS-based golf course management systems. These sales, which will be installed over the next 45 days, include the Inforemer’s GPS-based management information system and 347 mobile display units, consisting of its cart-mounted units, handheld units, marshal, greenskeeper and food and beverage units.
