Plenexis To Lease Transponder On Europe*Star 1 To Offer Broadband

Plenexis, a German broadband satellite company, has agreed to lease additional capacity on the Europe*Star 1 satellite operated by London-based Europe*Star. In addition, Plenexis is using the DirecWay platform supplied by Germantown, Md.-based Hughes Network Systems to offer broadband networking services to business customers throughout Europe. Financial terms were not disclosed.
