RF Magic, a San Diego, Calif.-based supplier of integrated radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) for consumer broadband digital entertainment markets, has raised $24 million in its series-C funding round. EchoStar Communications [Nasdaq: DISH] was among the companies that pumped in the new funding. Others included Conexant Systems, STMicrolectronics, and financial investors HamiltonApex Technology Ventures and Waypoint Ventures.
