Dulles, Va.-based Encore Networks has signed a reseller agreement with Long Beach, Calif.-based Future Visions for the company to add Encore’s line of integrated IP and virtual private network products to its broadband satellite networks, systems and solutions. Financial terms of the deal weren’t released. Future Vision specializes in providing turnkey satellite products for broadband Internet, security and surveillance, remote access and VPN services and wireless networks. Encore’s BANDIT product is an IP+legacy VPN appliance that provides satellite enterprise data network support for IPsec VPN, stateful inspection firewall, IP routing and QoS, numerous legacy data protocols and selective layer encryption.
