The Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Corp. will honor Boeing [NYSE: BA] employee Mona Simpson with a professional achievement award at its 15th Anniversary HENAAC Awards Show on Friday in Austin, Texas. Simpson, who began her career at Boeing 17 years ago as a design engineer, is director of Supplier Management and Procurement for Boeing Phantom Works in Huntington Beach, Calif. She has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from California State University and a master’s degree in systems management from the University of Southern California.
