Meridian IQ, the Overland Park, Kan.-based transportation management subsidiary of Yellow Corp. [Nasdaq: YELL], has acquired GPS USA, the U.S. operations of Hong Kong-based logistics service provider GPS Logistics, for an undisclosed consideration.

As a result of the acquisition, Yellow Global will combine Meridian IQ and GPS USA will be combined under the trade name Yellow GPS, enabling the company to expand its market coverage and service network.
