The Spanish industrial consortium Galileo Sistemas y Servicios (GSS) on Monday secured a 14 percent equity stake in Galileo Industries, the company created to oversee the construction and deployment of the European Galileo satellite navigation system.

GSS is made up of AENA, Alcatel Espacio, EADS-CASA, GMV, Hispasat, Indra and Sener. Other shareholders in Galileo Industries are Alcatel Space, Alenia Spazio, Astrium GmbH and Astrium Ltd.
