EchoStar Communications [Nasdaq: DISH] has inked a deal to deliver business television, a satellite communications service, to CompUSA, a retailer and reseller of computer technology and related products and services and a DISH Network satellite TV retailer.

The TV network, CompTV, will deliver employee training and business update broadcasts from its top executives to employees at more than 200 stores nationwide. In addition to live, interactive programs, CompUSA will use DISH Network’s PVR (personal video recorder) technology for viewing broadcasts. CompUSA will launch VIP (vendors impacting profits) TV later this summer. VIP TV will allow CompUSA vendors to broadcast training and promotional product information to locations nationwide.
