SkyFrames [OTC Bulletin Board: SKYU] a Costa Mesa, Calif.-based provider of satellite broadband Internet services, has completed the installation of satellite broadband/WiFi services in the rural community of Golden Valley, Arizona. SkyFrames and Arizona High Speed Access, an ISP that provides broadband connectivity services for rural locations in Arizona, are creating “hot-spots” that will enable emergency personnel to respond and communicate effectively.

The Golden Valley Fire Department (GVFD) will be one of the first subscribers on the network. GVFD will use the system to access hazardous material information, as well as retrieve and file state reports.

In addition, residents and businesses surrounding Golden Valley will have access for the first time to T1 speeds across SkyFrames products. There will be a combination of wireless connectivity that will include 802.11 and omni-directional radio frequency antennas. Each subscriber affiliated with the Arizona High Speed Access ISP will receive his or her own IP address and will be responsible for paying monthly broadband subscription charges.
