Alcatel Space CEO Pascale Sourisse says the company is performing up to expectations. The company went through another round of restructuring last month, resulting in layoffs and the closing of subsidiaries in Denmark and Norway. Sourisse told SATELLITE TODAY: “The company is performing according to expectations. In 2002, the results were financially rather good for Alcatel Space. I say, rather good, considering the very tough market environment we had in 2002. The difficult part in 2002 was the very low levels of the overall market. This year, the expectation at the beginning of the year was that 2003 would be better in terms of orders than 2002.”
