The European Space Agency has appointed Antonio Fabrizi to a four-year term as director of launchers. Since 2000, Fabrizi has been vice president of the Space Business Unit at FiatAvio, responsible for all space activities. At EAS, he will succeed Jean-Jacques Dordain, who takes up his new duties as ESA director general on July 1.
