Marlink, an Oslo, Norway-based unit of Telenor Satellite Services, has signed a three-year agreement with Radisson Seven Seas Cruises to provide complete onboard satellite communications for the Radisson Diamond.

The Diamond joins other Radisson Seven Seas Cruise ships, including the Navigator, Mariner and the newly built Voyager, in offering at-sea satellite communications from Marlink. Telenor has provided Radisson with high-speed data communications (128 Kbps) since 2001.

The agreement calls for Marlink to provide Sealink high-speed data service. Operating at speeds up to 2 Mbps, the Sealink solution allows guests and crew to enjoy greater access to e-mail, fax services, and telephone service.
