Premier Retail Networks (PRN) plans to deliver high-definition TV programming to 870 Sears‘ in-store television broadcast platforms using EchoStar Communications [Nasdaq: DISH] DISH Network Business Solutions as the satellite delivery provider.
With satellite delivery of PRN content, Sears can update programming segments to give customers timely in-store information. Sears and advertisers will now have more targeting capabilities, including ways to customize their message to consumers by geographic region and store.
