Iran’s al-Alam news channel has launched on 12437 MHz horizontal via PIDs V165, A90. MBC Europe has been replaced by the new anti-Saddam channel Al-Arabiyah on 12597 MHz vertical, SR 27500, FEC 3/4, VPID 160, APID 80. EDTV Channel Europe has been replaced by Dubai Sports Channel Europe on 11747 MHz horizontal, SR 27500, FEC 3/4, VPID 5666, APID 5667 in clear MPEG-2. WRn’B Radio has launched on 12692 MHz horizontal, SR 27500, FEC 3/4 via APID 103. On 11200 MHz vertical, SR 27500, FEC 5/6 an Olisat TV Hispana promo channel has launched in clear MPEG-2 via VPID 368, APID 369. The Italian Mediaset channels, Italia 1, Canale 5 and Rete 4 launched on 11387 MHz horizontal, SR 26174, FEC 1/2 last week along with a Mediolanum promo channel. However, by 7 March they had all left this frequency. On 12220 MHz horizontal, SR 6161, FEC 3/4, home of the RR Satellite Communications multiplex, a caption for the Kairali TV channel has appeared via VPID 33, APID 34 in clear MPEG-2. Although no information is given, it would seem that this is a new Israeli channel, which should launch soon. Beur TV has now started regular programming on 11034 MHz vertical via PIDs V420, A430. The northern Italian radio station Radio Studio Delta has launched on 11200 MHz vertical, SR 27500, FEC 5/6, APID 376 in clear MPEG-2.

A Radio Maria has left the 7.74 MHz audio sub-carrier on the back of TV5 Europe at 11318 MHz vertical.
