National Scientific [OTC: NSCT] has received a $250,000 blanket purchase order from Verify Systems for mobile wireless developmental platforms for use in Verify’s iVERIFIED school bus rider authentication system. National Scientific designed a specially modified version of its Shuttlefinder technology for Verify Systems that allows for Global Positioning System (GPS) logging and locating of students boarding and/or disembarking from school buses.

National Scientific’ssystem also features a series of wireless data links to transmit that information from the school bus back to the school’s online databases, as well as advanced student classroom time and attendance logging. Deliveries against this order are scheduled to begin in late March.
