EMS Technologies [Nasdaq: ELMG] announced a series of deals in conjunction with the SATELLITE 2003 conference this past week in Washington, D.C. Among the announcements, EMS hardware will be part of the Intelsat 907 communications satellite recently launched by Arianespace that is expected to become operational this month.
The company also has teamed up with Mobile Satellite Ventures to deploy 60 terminals to support two-way Global Positioning System tracking in New Mexico. In addition, EMS (Atlanta) has received a supplemental type certificate for its aeronautical high-speed data terminal from the Federal Aviation Administration.
