Intelsat CFO Expects Market Conditions For IPO To Improve
Intelsat CFO Joe Corbett told attendees at SATELLITE 2003 Tuesday that he expected market conditions to improve sufficiently by June of next year to allow the global satellite operator to complete its planned initial public stock offering (IPO).
A great deal of money is “on the sidelines” waiting to be invested, said Corbett. Congress granted Intelsat an extension that would allow the company to wait until June 30 next year to perform the offering, he noted.
