During a Tuesday panel at SATELLITE 2003, the top financial officers of Eutelsat and New Skies Satellites [NYSE: NSK] projected that their companies’ revenues would grow by at least 6 or 7 percent this year. Eutelsat’s top-line performance rose 7 percent last year and is likely to hit the same level again this year, said Charles Hindson, Eutelsat’s chief financial officer.

New Skies CFO Andrew Browne said that his company’s revenue growth this year should range between 6 and 11 percent. The strongest revenue gains for New Skies are coming from India, the Middle East and Africa, Browne said. Deregulation in India has helped to give the company a sales boost, he added.
