Aether Systems [Nasdaq: AETH], a provider of satellite-based mobile fleet tracking products, has signed a contract with truckload carrier TRL (Pittson, Pa.) to convert its entire fleet of 600 trucks to Aether MobileMax, a fleet tracking and messaging system. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Aether Systems (Owings Mills, Md.) said its MobileMax system transmits dispatch and data messages and GPS position reports, and provides data on state-line crossings, vehicle fault codes, and driver performance.
