Kingston inmedia, the satellite-based broadband technology arm of Kingston Communications, won two contracts last week. One deal involves providing Internet backbone connectivity and VoIP services via satellite to the engineering-oriented Odebrecht Group, using Kingston’s teleport at its home base in Gerrards Cross, England.

The second contract calls for Kingston to deliver almost 50 percent of the independent radio stations on BSkyB’s Sky digital platform. Terms of the deals were not disclosed
