NTL is considering selling its broadcast transmission business. Speaking at the Merrill Lynch TMT conference in London, CEO Stephen Carter said it is continuing with plans to create a tracking stock of its transmission arm, as previously announced. However, the company also stated that it would consider a sale of the transmission business provided it was primarily cash-based.
