New Skies Satellites has signed a major contract with the Taiwanese telecoms company New Century Info Comm (NCIC). Under it, NCIC will provide the telco, which was recently awarded fixed and mobile licences in the country, with satellite capacity of 65 Mbit/s to be used as an Internet backbone connection with the US.
