The Rocky Mountain Section of the Institute of Navigation (ION) is planning a "Cutting-Edge GPS Applications" meeting Oct. 24 at the Lockheed Martin [LMT] Citadel conference room. Topics include the MicroLab-1 project and the Tactical Automated Situation Receiver (TASR) updates. TASR uses GPS to provide warnings to troops in the field through a handheld device.
