Intellian Granted Japanese Certifications for FleetBroadband Terminal

Satellite antenna systems developer Intellian received Japan’s TELEC radio equipment certification for its Inmarsat FleetBroadband FB250R and FB500R terminals. The TELEC certification confirms that the FleetBroadband terminals meet technical standards under the Radio Act of Japan.
Intellian previously received TELEC’s stamp of approval for its GX100 and GX60 Inmarsat Fleet Xpress terminals. The company said that the additional certification allows it to provide both Inmarsat Fleet Xpress service and FleetBroadband to shipping companies in Japan.
