Telefonica’s wholesale business unit, Telefonica International Wholesale Services, has completed the final stage of the automation and simplification of all its operations across some of its most demanded services, including Internet Protocol over a Virtual Private Network (IP/VPN), Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) or Broadband, Ethernet, Colocation, Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX), Next-Generation Network (NGN) voice, satellite and WAN2Cloud services.

Telefonica International Wholesale Services is working with industry partners to automate multiple services across physical and virtualized networks to guarantee a seamless journey across the entire infrastructure. The automation of the network and orchestration of products and services has been a high priority for Telefonica International Wholesale Services and a fundamental pillar of its strategy. It means that the presales, order handling and provisioning teams no longer need to manually configure each modification requested by a customer on their sites as these requests are now fully automated. This approach leads to fewer incidents, and as a result, delivers a better service for our customers.
