[Via Satellite 06-06-2014] Aeromexico chose Panasonic to provide in-flight broadband connectivity to nine of the airline’s new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner fleet. The connected aircraft will offer Panasonic’s In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system with 16-inch Elite High Definition Panasonic screens in the first class cabin and Eco Monitor Touch Screens in the economy class cabin.

There will also be a moving map application to provide flight information in real-time, a Jukebox application for customers to create personalized playlists from more than 1,500 songs offered, and a SeatChat solution, which lets passengers send messages to other passengers using the IFE system. Aeromexico is Panasonic’s first Latin American airline customer for its Ku-band services.
