Valleypoint Telecoms Expands Coverage in Western Kenya via Avanti’s Hylas 2

[Via Satellite 05-16-2014] Valleypoint Telecoms, an African telecommunications operator based in Nairobi, Kenya, entered into a contract with Avanti Communications to extend its broadband coverage across Western Kenya. This new service will deploy over Avanit’s Hylas 2 satellite and will target both consumer and enterprise customers in the region.
“With our Hylas 2 satellite, Avanti provides 100 percent coverage of Kenya,” said Matthew O’Connor, CEO of Avanti. “Our service provides the flexibility and quality to fully address the diverse demands of customers in the region.”
