Harris CapRock Releases Pulse Advanced VSAT Solution

[Via Satellite 03-13-2014] Harris CapRock Communications has introduced Pulse, an Advanced VSAT solution to provide bandwidth for offshore and deepwater customers. The new service securely delivers real-time bandwidth upgrades. By leveraging Comtech EF Data’s efficient modem technologies and Vipersat Management System, Pulse can dynamically reassign satellite capacity on demand.
The Pulse advanced VSAT solution was recently deployed on Royal Caribbean’s global fleet along with networks for customer operations in the Gulf of Mexico. The service provided close to 20 times the information rates of a prior solution.
