Airbus Defense and Space Selects Newtec Dialog for Global Enterprise VSAT Business

[Via Satellite 03-12-2014] Airbus Defense and Space and Newtec have signed a new deal to deploy Newtec’s Dialog platform as the technology of choice for providing global fixed VSAT solutions. Under the contract, in the coming months, new network hubs will be delivered and installed in several teleports serving enterprise and government customers with remote VSAT terminals being deployed all across the globe.

The Newtec Dialog platform is a scalable and flexible multiservice platform that allows operators to build and adapt their infrastructure as their business and the satellite market grows and changes. Airbus Defense and Space delivers satellite communications solutions across five continents to land, maritime and government customers. The Newtec Dialog platform will serve to enhance Airbus Defense and Space’s services to these markets.
