[Via Satellite 01-31-2014] Orange Business Services has renewed and expanded a satellite capacity contract with SES Global to support its network connectivity needs in Russia. The Ku-band capacity will be hosted on the NSS 12 satellite, enabling Orange Business Services to provide communications services to businesses in the country. This increase in capacity will also allow the company to provide point-to-point and corporate network connectivity covering parts of Siberia to satisfy demand from mobile operators.

“Reliable connectivity, especially when it comes to remote and wide geographical areas like Siberia, is of vital importance to our customers’ businesses,” said Vladimir Valkovich, director of technical and IT Departments with Orange Business Services in Russia and CIS. “Partnering with SES helps us to ensure we meet our customers’ expectations and further strengthen our leading position as international communication and integration services provider in the business-to-business sector.”
