Telespazio France will distribute multi-orbit terminals built by French terminal developer Greenerwave to the European defense market under a new agreement between the companies announced Wednesday.

Under the agreement, Telespazio France will distribute Greenerwave’s low-power Geostationary and Low-Earth Orbit (GEO/LEO)  terminals to priority government, defense, and security sectors in France, across Europe and in the United Kingdom. Telespazio said it plans to integrate Greenerwave’s antenna technology into its satcom offering. The partners aim to improve access to sovereign, resilient, and secure satellite communications in Europe.

Greenerwave CEO Geoffroy Lerosey said this is a “key milestone” for the company as it scales the development of its terminals.

“By combining our breakthrough technology with Telespazio’s strong presence in government and defense markets, we aim to provide sovereign, energy-efficient and resilient connectivity solutions that meet the growing operational needs of institutional users. Strengthening Europe’s technological autonomy in satellite communications is at the core of our mission,” Lerosey commented.
