Hispasat Looks to Boost Female Aerospace Engineers with Scholarship

Hispasat has launched the second edition of its scholarship so that female engineers can carry out their postgraduate Master’s studies in aeronautical engineering or telecommunications engineering in the aerospace sector. The Hisapsat “Female Engineer” scholarship, which will be awarded each year, intends to foster the presence of female talent in the technology field and thus contribute both to women’s professional development in these areas of studies as well as increase the number of women in the aerospace sector.

The scholarship will consist of 5,000 euros ($6,147) in financial aid, which will be used to pay the tuition of the postgraduate course that the winner enrolls in and other expenditures related to these studies.

The application period for the scholarship for the 2018-2019 academic year April 3 and will remain open until May 18. Hispasat will announce the results on June 7.
