Satellogic has a new strategic partnership with satellite data analytics company Suhora that gives Suhora exclusive rights to market Satellogic’s imagery and data in India and Nepal. Satellogic announced the partnership on Sept. 3, calling it a seven-figure, multi-year deal.

Suhora, based in India, will leverage its in-country expertise to deliver Satellogic’s geospatial intelligence tailored to the specific needs of the Indian market. The company operates in defense and intelligence and disaster and insurance markets. Some of its other satellite partners include Planet, Iceye, and SatVu.

The companies said Satellogic’s satellite data will be used to address environmental challenges, national interests, infrastructure and natural resource management, and disaster response.

“India is one of the fastest-growing markets for space technology and its applications. While EO data adoption has so far been centered around a limited set of use cases, Satellogic’s accessible and cost-effective data products now open the door to a much wider spectrum of applications that Indian users can fully leverage,” said Suhora CEO Krishanu Acharya.
