Lear Signs Hyundai for Exo Technology Partnership Program

Automotive technology provider Lear has signed Hyundai–Kia America Technical Center (HATCI) as the first development partner in its Exo Technology Partnership Program. The Exo Technology Partnership Program is a collaborative effort between Lear, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and other ecosystem players.

Lear’s Exo vehicle positioning technology is a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) solution, using cloud-computing and software-based technology. Beginning in early 2019, HATCI plans to utilize the complete Exo vehicle positioning solution, including full access to electronic hardware, on-vehicle sensor fusion software, and the cloud-based Exo correction service.
