Canadian satellite technology and essential information solutions provider MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates (MDA) has signed a multi-million dollar sole source delivery order under its Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with the U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), MDA announced.
The delivery order is for the provision of Radarsat-2 information to be used by the National Ice Center in creating ice charts supporting environmental monitoring and improving the safety of maritime navigation.
Financial details of the delivery order were not disclosed.
