Kratos Defense & Security Solutions subsidiary SAT Corp. has been awarded a contract by U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) to provide worldwide Radio Frequency (RF) interference geo-location services, Kratos announced.
   SAT Corp. will provide U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) with its quality-of-service RF monitoring and interference detection and geo-location services for commercial satellites. The award is valued at $13.2 million if all options are exercised over a potential five-year period. SAT Corp.’s global network employs its Monics solution for interference monitoring; satID for geo-location; and tri-band C-, X- and Ku-band antennas.
   “Worldwide geo-location capabilities are an essential piece for USSTRATCOM and USCYBERCOM defense missions, including enhanced protection of critical leased commercial SATCOM assets. SAT Corp. services provide these capabilities in a uniquely cost-effective services-based model,” SAT Corp. Vice President and General Manager of Services Greg Caicedo said in a statement.
