[Satellite TODAY 06-03-10] Orbit Technologies won a contract to supply its systems for tracking low orbiting civilian imagery satellites to an unnamed Israeli satellite imaging company, Orbit announced June 2.
Under this agreement, Orbit will supply two TTC LEO tracking antenna systems based on its AL-4018 digital system. The tracking antenna is 3 meters in diameter and operates on S-band frequency.
“As we bolster our satellite tracking market position in Israel, we intend to continue to set supply chain timetable records as well,” Orbit Technologies spokesman Israel Adan said in a statement.
