[Satellite TODAY 06-03-10] CapRock CTO Philip Harlow has left the company to join Xtar LLC as president and COO, Xtar announced June 2.
Harlow succeeds Denis Curtin, who is retiring. Curtin will serve in an advisory role at Xtar during Harlow’s transition and will continue to serve as a member of its Board of Directors. Harlow will be responsible for the growth and strategic direction of Xtar’s global business, overseeing the management, marketing and technical aspects of the company.
Harlow’s departure from CapRock follows the company’s $525 million acquisition by Harris Corp., announced in May and expected to close during the first quarter of 2011.
