[11-20-07 – Satellite Today] CVG Inc. has won $1.3 million in contracts to provide the Florida Army National Guard with satellite-based communications equipment, the company announced Nov. 20.
CVG will supply the Army with the CVG 4200 Emergency Communications kit, which enables first responders to gain broadband connectivity under adverse conditions and in remote locations, providing communications via Inmarsat’s Broadband Global Area Network, Globalstar or high-speed cellular data networks
The work was awarded under CVG’s Satcom-2 contract from the U.S. General Services Administration.
