[10-25-07 – Satellite Today]  Radyne Corp. has received $1.6 million in orders for modems in support of the Ground Multi-band Terminal (GMT) project, as well as another military communications program, the company announced Oct. 25.

The orders were from a major military communications integrator and will ship during the next four months.

The GMT program is a multi-year program for the U.S. Air Force, designed to operate in the U.S. Department of Defense/Defense Information Systems Agency X- and Ka-band modes, as well as with commercial C- and Ku-band satellites.
