Arrowhead Global Solutions Inc. received an order from the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide the U.S. Marine Corps with expanded commercial satellite capabilities, the company reported Dec. 18.
Arrowhead, in conjunction with SES, will provide bandwidth availability, portability and mobility to support missions in the United States, Europe, Southwest Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa and Central Asia.
The task order, valued at about $20 million, has a one-year base and options that could extend the contract to 2011.
