Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) is to change its name at the start of 2026. The company will be called SSC Space, with all of its operations and subsidiaries to be gathered under one common global brand. The company believes the new name will better reflect the company’s global presence and business focus. The company announced the name change, Dec. 8.
Already today, SSC Space serves as the legal entity name in several key markets. As part of this transition, the company’s subsidiaries, LSE Space and Aurora Technology, will adopt the SSC Space name, bringing the entire organization together under one global brand. Operating internationally, the company has premises across all continents: Sweden, Australia, Canada, Chile, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, and the United States.
“Under one global brand, we can fully leverage the strength of our leading market position. SSC Space will continue to build on the recognition and trust established over decades, maintaining the same mission, values, and expertise – with the same commitment to helping Earth benefit from space,” Charlotta Sund, president and CEO of SSC, said in a statement.
