Eutelsat is bringing all of its activities together under the Eutelsat brand, while maintaining OneWeb as the name of its Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation.
Since Eutelsat acquired OneWeb in 2023, the company had been using the name Eutelsat Group, and OneWeb was operating as a subsidiary called Eutelsat OneWeb.
Eutelsat announced Thursday that it now operates as a single company. The legacy OneWeb website is being consolidated into Eutelsat’s site to give customers one access point for all services and solutions. Eutelsat also adjusted the blue and red used in its brand identity.
“This new brand is about ambition and clarity. By coming together as Eutelsat, we make it easier for our customers, clearer for our stakeholders, and stronger for the future,” Eutelsat CEO Jean-François Fallacher said.
As a combined company, Eutelsat operates a fleet of 34 Geostationary (GEO) satellites and a LEO constellation of more than 600 satellites.
