Satellite service provider Station Satcom will integrate Eutelsat’s OneWeb connectivity services for the maritime sector, under a new deal announced Wednesday.

Station Satcom is based in India and supports more than 6,000 vessels across more than 25 regions. The company works with multiple satellite operators and is also a reseller for Starlink.

Eutelsat has a long-standing partnership with Station Satcom, which is now expanded to include Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) connectivity services. Station Satcom plans to integrate OneWeb into its portfolio to provide hybrid satellite connectivity for vessels. Eutelsat said this will support real-time data, operational efficiency, and crew welfare for vessels on major shipping routes and in remote offshore environments.

“This is a game-changer for the maritime sector at large. By integrating OneWeb’s LEO satellite service, we can now offer seamless connectivity for ship owners, crew welfare and offshore operations,” commented Station Satcom CEO Anshul Khanna.
