Mobile satellite communications and IT services provider Speedcast entered into a strategic partnership agreement with cloud-based network management solutions company Antamedia, the companies announced Tuesday. As a result, Speedcast will gain access to Antamedia’s Enterprise WiFi Hotspot and Digital Guide Hospitality software and integrate them in the latest release of the Speedcast SIGMA intelligent network management platform for mobile end-users.

This comes in addition to recent enhancements Speedcast made to SIGMA, including a new architecture, and enhanced visibility, control, compliance, and security management features.

Antamedia provides advanced on-premise and cloud-based network management solutions to more than 50,000 customers, including telecommunications providers, ISPs, hospitality brands, and government institutions. Speedcast said that the integration with Antamedia software will bring new end-user features and functionalities to SIGMA, including enhanced staff, crew and guest connectivity, added internet control, service access, payment features, a self-service portal that works across different environments, improvement of daily operations, and provision of access to essential services in remote environments.

Speedcast will debut the enhanced, next-generation SIGMA platform at the Nor-Shipping 2025 event, held June 2-6 in Oslo, Norway.
