SpaceX is rolling out a small, portable Starlink Mini version of its terminal designed for on-the-go use. It is a portable kit with an integrated Wi-Fi router.

SpaceX Vice President of Starlink Engineering Michael Nicolls posted about the Starlink Mini on X on June 20, sharing that SpaceX plans to ramp up production and offer the product in international markets soon. Nicolls posted a speed test showing 124 Mbps upload speeds.

In the photo Nicolls shared, above, the portable terminal’s small size is demonstrated next to a puppy.

According to an email to Starlink customers shared on X, existing Starlink customers can bundle a Mini Roam service plan with their residential service for an additional $30 per month for 50 GB of mobile data. The terminal costs $599, which is more expensive than the standard $499 roam terminal.

Starlink Mini runs on DC power input and is designed for low power consumption.
