A new administration is giving T-Mobile and Sprint hopes of reviving its merger plans. The companies announced Sunday they are trying again to get approval for a merger after aborting their original plans in 2014. The companies say the combined entity would challenge leaders AT&T and Verizon, and be able to build a nationwide 5G network but critics aren’t buying this argument.
