[Via Satellite 04-08-2014] Canal + Overseas renewed and expanded its existing agreement with Intelsat to enhance its high definition, Direct-to-Home (DTH) programming in the Caribbean. Canal + Overseas has decided to continue its multiple-transponder use on the Intelsat 903 satellite, and in 2017 the company plans to transition its capacity to the follow-on satellite, Intelsat 35e, in the same region.
The Intelsat 903 satellite currently offers more than 160 SD and HD channels in the neighborhood serving the French Caribbean territories.
