[Satellite TODAY 07-05-13] SES Broadband Services has signed a new deal with pan-European satellite broadband Internet Service Provider (ISP) EuropaSat. Under the contract, EuropaSat will offer a Ka-band satellite Internet services in the United Kingdom and across Europe using SES Broadband Services capacity.
 
    EuropaSat, which has already begun marketing the new packages, will offer a full range of ground based services for new customers wanting fast broadband within the SES Broadband Services Ka-band footprint. These include online ordering, pre- and post-sales support, logistics and maintenance, all directly via the EuropaSat.com website, and through its channel of 300 resellers and marketing partners. SES Broadband Services will in turn deliver all the space, network and hub operations for the services.
 

    In other SES news, the company has signed a comprehensive collaboration agreement with Space Systems International Monaco S.A.M. (SSI-Monaco). SSI-Monaco, founded in 2004, signed a License Agreement with the Monaco Government in 2009 for the development and use of the 52 degrees East Monaco orbital position and is notably responsible for the realization of the MonacoSat satellite project. Under the terms of the agreement between SES and SSI-Monaco, SES will have the rights to commercialize the entire MonacoSat payload of 12 Ku-band transponders on board MonacoSat/TurkmenSpace.
