Abe Peled Simon Baxton |
[Satellite TODAY 06-19-13] Inmarsat announced the appointments of Abe Peled and Simon Bax as additional non-executive directors to its board. Both appointments will take effect immediately; Peled will become a member of the nominations committee, and Bax will become a remuneration committee member.
Prior to joining Inmarsat, Peled served as senior vice president strategy, video and collaboration group with Cisco. He is also a senior advisor on technology businesses to U.K. private equity firm, Permira. In March 2013, he was awarded a lifetime achievement award by Digital TV Europe.
From 2008 to 2013 Bax served as CEO of Encompass Digital Media, which provides technical services to broadcasters, cable networks and government agencies.
